Curriculum Author
The Faith and Everyday Leadership™ curriculum is written by Wayne Whitson Floyd, Ph.d., who is Education Program Manager at the Alban Institute.
Dr. Floyd came to the Alban Institute in 2006 following two years as Director of the Center for Christian Formation at Washington National Cathedral. Prior to moving to Washington, DC, in 2004, Dr. Floyd was the Canon Theologian and Director of the Anglican Center for Theology and Spirituality in the Diocese of Southern Virginia. Previously he had served as Canon Theologian and Director of the School of Christian Studies in the Diocese of Central Pennsylvania.

Wayne came to professional work for the Episcopal Church from a career in seminary and undergraduate teaching at the school of theology of The University of the South (Sewanee, TN), at Dickinson College (Carlisle, PA), and at The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia (Philadelphia, PA). During that time he also distinguished himself as a scholar in the theology of great twentieth century theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer, and served as the General Editor of the first eight volumes of the English language critical edition of the Dietrich Bonhoeffer Works.
He is married to The Rev. Dr. Nancy Lee Jose, rector of St. Thomas’ Parish at Dupont Circle, a well-known Episcopal church in Washington, DC.
